My Story

My Story

I have always loved travelling and working in beautiful, remote communities. My hospitality management work has taken me to Baffin island, Banff, Vancouver Island, Ontario and more. I met my partner Anne in Nunavut and together we shared good times there, on the West Coat of Canada and now in southern Ontario where I call home

.     My greatest skill is my ability to bring out the best in people, and build their self-confidence. I love to train on-the-job, and get immense satisfaction from building productive teams. Hospitality is not rocket science; anyone with a good attitude and willingness to learn can be taught just about anything in a positive, supportive environment.

I have managed several restaurants, resorts and hotels across Canada, and have worked in just about every job from pot washer to resort manager. I know through trial and error what works in a remote business, and what does not, and I can help to build a business for local staff, in every facet of the operation.
